during my years at art school, i focused on traditional portrait drawing, working primarily with pencil. over the course of seven years, i developed a deep understanding of form, anatomy, light, and expression. portraiture became more than a subject - it became a way to study people, emotion, and detail at a very personal level
those years were intensive and transformative. they shaped not only my technical skills but also my mindset as an artist. long hours of practice, observation, and refinement taught me discipline and patience, while also strengthening my ability to see and interpret the world through art
after graduating, one thing became clear: i could no longer imagine my life without creating. art had become an essential part of who i am - not just a skill, but a way of thinking and expressing ideas
today, my work continues to evolve, but it is still grounded in the foundation i built through traditional portrait drawing. that experience remains at the core of everything i create
